In November of 2025 I did an article similar to this for players who I thought might breakout this year. Looking back on it now there were a couple of big ones we should have seen coming, most notably Jesus Baez whose base autograph jumped over 700% in value over the course of this season. Now we can look at exactly what I noticed in Baez’s underlying hitting data and see if we can’t find similar players who are primed for the same type of jump in 2027.
