Happy Friday everybody. This Tampa Bay Rays buy sheet is labor intensive and I’m already at 11 buys so I may have to delay its release until Monday because the player write-ups are taking what feels like years. So in the meantime I wanted to announce my first giveaway of the 2026 season and why not start it with a bang. As many of you know, Roman Anthony was the prospect who basically started this whole thing. I was very vocal on Twitter about why I thought he could be a hobby superstar when he was batting .200 in Single-A. His 1st Bowman autographs are up over 1,000% from those days and it drove me to continue to try and find players who can replicate those gains for other people. That’s why I felt it was only fitting to choose 2023 Bowman as the box to give away for free since Roman Anthony’s 1st Bowman’s are in it. It’s not just Roman though as 2023 Bowman has one of my personal favorite autograph checklists of any product in the last five years.
According to data from ProspectPulse there are five players with raw 1st base autographs in this release that sell for over $100 presently: Roman Anthony ($850), Junior Caminero ($337), Spencer Jones ($253), Josue De Paula ($118), and Justin Crawford ($104). There are also ten more that sell for $40 or more in Lazaro Montes, Michael Arroyo, Hao-Yu Lee, Moises Ballesteros, Wilyer Abreu, Xavier Isaac, Cam Collier, Jefferson Rojas, Hector Rodriguez, and Nelson Rada.
There’s a ton of upside in this product since many of the players are either exciting rookies in the big leagues or on the doorstep of making their MLB debuts. My hope is that my sealed box will land in the hands of someone who could pull a big card for their own Bowman collection.
