It’s been awhile since I’ve done what I call a “big update” to my pitcher rankings where I take the last month’s worth of data and statistics and use them for a full re-rank. There are always some big swings and today’s update is no different with a certain pitcher moving close to 100 spot to crack the top 25. Spoiler alert - he has a Bowman autograph too. Now isn’t the most ideal time to be buying singles as we approach not only the end of the season but also a new Bowman release which should shift people’s focus to the new shiny toy that’s about to be in front of them. But I’ve adjusted my expected rankings down quite a bit so any player that is still showing up as a buy or a strong buy means the formula LOVES them, and when the expected prices reset in the offseason they’ll probably be guys I’m big on buying for 2027. Even though we should expect prices as a whole to trend down there’s nothing wrong with snagging some players who are cheap now if you plan on continuing to pile their cards this fall and winter.
