When I made the switch from Substack over to the new site the only thing that was missing in my opinion was the ability for all of us to interact as a community. That’s why I created the Discord to try and fill that void. However, now we’ve officially added a Community feature for premium subscribers.

The community will be a feed (think Facebook or Twitter) where everyone is free to talk prospects and Bowman. I’ve added channels where you can show off your mail days, ask individual prospect questions, and post player highlights. Another cool part of this is that going forward every article I publish will automatically post to the community feed in the ‘Articles’ channel and all previous articles will be loaded in as well. There’s a search bar where you can type in “top 200 hitters”, “hot sheet”, etc. and it will sort the articles from new to old so you can find exactly what you’re looking for.

Now for my favorite part, the Prospect Analytics community can function as an app that you can put on your phone’s home screen. Here are the three buttons you need to click to add the app to your phone once you’ve joined the community.

After joining you’ll be prompted to allow notifications and if you enable them then you will get a push notification every time someone interacts with a comment you’ve posted. Also, the community should make reading articles much easier for most of you because the app will not make you login with a code every time you visit, it will keep you logged in instead. If you enjoy reading the articles in your email or on the website and don’t want to change anything that is fine as well, nothing at all will change about how those articles are delivered to you. This will just be an added way to read them and chat about Bowman for anyone who is interested.

The community is still in Beehiiv’s Beta testing at the moment so there may be some bumps early on as we navigate this new feature, but I’m excited to get it up and running so that we can grow our Bowman community!
