Our pitcher Hot Sheet is back but with a slight change. When I added pitchers this year it was a bit of a guessing game as to what should be considered a “hot” start. Over the weeks I’ve tweaked the requirements a little bit but even up until last week it was spitting out pitchers who were walking four to five hitters in a start and in my opinion that’s not what we want to see. For that reason I’ve added a qualifier for WHIP so that only pitchers with a WHIP below 1.50 for the week will be included. Don’t worry there were still plenty of names to dive into as pitchers seem to be dominating early on.
