As I said last week with the hitters article, my normal rankings that update weekly move based on day-to-day performances but there will be a few times a year that I sit down and do a full re-rank based on a number of factors that cannot be adjusted as frequently as the statistics but need to be done periodically to keep the rankings current. This will be the first one of the season for our pitchers. As always remember that players who were drafted in 2025 will shift very drastically in the first few months of the season while they accumulate professional plate appearances so any big red numbers you see next to those players do not panic!

For the first time we will also have pricing in for the players who received their 1st autograph in 2026 Bowman this past week. Obviously those values should come down some over the next couple of weeks but good to get an idea of where they’re selling initially. Next week I’m going to do one of my favorite articles that found us countless sleepers last year and that’s the “30 Spots in 30 Days”. Obviously the hot sheets track our hottest names but some players slowly climb up the rankings without having dominant enough weeks to be on every hot sheet and we’ll give those players their flowers and see if we can’t find some value in their autograph prices (we probably will). This year will mark the first time that pitchers will be included in that article so I’m pumped to see what we find.
